Gossip Girl (2021) Gossip Girl is an American teen drama television series based on the novel series of the same name written by Cecily von Ziegesar. The series, developed for television by Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage, ran on The CW network for six seasons from September 19, 2007, to December 17, 2012. Narrated by the unknown, omniscient "The Blair Witch Project," on the other hand, reminds us often that Heather is filming at almost all times with two cameras, and the opening text simply states that their footage was "found." Much of the movie takes place in Seneca Creek State Park and historic Burkittsville in Montgomery County. The park is nestled in a picturesque landscape surrounded by lush forests, mountains, and rustic creeks and streams. Set against this backdrop is the 200-year-old Griggs House in Patapsco Valley State Park in western Baltimore County. A companion piece, Curse of the Blair Witch (1999), a 44-minute mockumentary about the Blair Witch, was released concurrently. Due to the success of The Blair Witch Project, it was followed by two sequels, Book of Shadows: Blair Witch 2 (2000) and Blair Witch (2016).
