3) 5 Speed trans actually feels better than the 6speed transmission, the 4.6is shifts better and is preditable. You know it will fail on you, and the trans is rebuildable. 6) valve guides and intermediate levers problems non existant. most 4.8is have these problems with oil consumption and cold start misfiring.
