Additional things i have learned: - Noise is almost nonexistent when the engine is cold (Night sitting) it gets more present when the engine gets hotter. - When hot the noise can be heard at idle, but not when reeving in neutral (in gear it's there and gets faster with RPM) Disconnect the EPB actuator connector (A). 4. Disconnect the brake hose from the brake caliper by loosening the bolt (B). 5. Remove the rear upper arm (A). 6. Loosen the caliper mounting bolts (A) and then remove the rear caliper assembly (B). 7. Remove the rear brake disc by loosening the screws (A). Have had a similar problem with my 62 plate Ceed. The clutch would take up on the floor and it was getting very difficult to select a gear the pedal was also very stiff. Even if the hill start stuff was the problem the car should stall before the clutch slips, unless the OP has his foot on the clutch pedal. But I'm going to assume the OP is not touching the clutch pedal, the clutch is working normally, then at some point going up the hill the clutch starts to slip. Kia Cee’d Sportswagon 1.6 CRDi 3. Its the damp forming on the flywheel and potentially causing minor rust contamination overnight. A bit of clutch slip will clean it up. There is also a suggestion that the clutch plate material is not as robust as it used to be thereby exasperating the condition. The eight-inch infotainment system isn’t quite as sharp as the flagship Ceed’s 10.25-inch system, but the menus are well laid out and it has all the connectivity features you need thanks to omhBE.
